“Help others achieve their dreams and you will achieve yours” Les Brown
PA’s love our profession because it is the best reflect of who we really are. It took our entire lives to help others, to give support, to organize, innately and openly.
It is more than a habit of life or more than a studied competency. What pushes us to have that dedication to service? Why that inner flame is in our spirit?
The HR specialists know that one of the main factors that determine the success of professionals reside in choosing a career that fits accordingly with the personality you possess.
Studies find that there are four basic personality types:
1.- Energy – pragmatist: can be classified into extroverts (like working with others, teamwork and shared spaces) and introverted (are independent, prefer to work alone or in small groups, like the calm and quiet spaces)
2.- Those who love the values – theoretical: the might classify thinkers (like jobs where they can use their intelligence and that leads them to excellence) and sensitive (like the works that reflect your values and can help another people.
3.- The Thinker style – caretakers: we could classify the sensor (like working with things like people, information and machines) and intuitive (who love working with abstract things like theories, ideas and possibilities).
4.- The lifestyle – empathetic: judges can be classified into (like the organization and highly ordered structures at work) and recipients (love freedom, flexibility and do not mind the chaos)
Concierge, Personal Assistants, Planners, Organizers professionals…. are among the group of caretakers and the pragmatics, energetics and productive …
